Considered one of Las Vegas’ most spectacular productions, the Lido de Paris show opened at the Stardust Hotel and Casino in 1958. It was a French-style revue produced by Donn Arden and one of the first shows to include topless performers on the Las Vegas Strip. The state-of-the-art production featured swimming pools, cascading waterfalls, and wireless microphones, setting the scene for the popularity of showgirl productions in Las Vegas for years to come. The show ran for more than 32 years, presenting 22,000 performances, and was enjoyed by more than 19 million guests.
