This sign is part of the collection at The Neon Museum Las Vegas. The sign has the following description on their website:

Owned by the Patel family, the Yucca Motel was located on Las Vegas Boulevard, and offered affordable accommodation to travelers exploring post-World War II America.

A combination of the words “motor hotel,“ “motels” were typically located along highways and easily accessible from the road, providing travelers with convenient lodging and ample parking. This sign uses argon, which glows pale blue when electricity is passed through it. The glowing color can be altered by using colored glass, painting the glass itself, or applying colored phosphor coatings inside the glass tube.
